At Love for Thrift, we believe in second chances, fresh starts, and the power of community. Our story began with a single, unforgettable moment: as a child, I found a Purple Heart medal among my grandfather’s belongings. Though I never served in the military, that medal became a symbol of strength, sacrifice, and resilience—values that would later shape the path of my life and this mission.

Because my journey hasn’t been easy.

Like so many others, I’ve battled the dark grip of addiction. I’ve faced the cold reality of homelessness, and I know what it’s like to feel lost, hopeless, and alone. But I also know what it means to be given a chance—to be lifted, believed in, and given room to rebuild. That’s why Love for Thrift and our housing program, Re-entry Live, were created.

We’re not just running a business. We’re living a mission.

For over four years, without grants or outside funding, we’ve provided safe, clean transitional housing to individuals coming out of incarceration, treatment programs, homelessness, or life-altering setbacks. Re-entry Live gives people more than a roof over their head—it gives them dignity, support, and a path forward.
